WORKING WITH NETWORKING BASICS SR173

networking technologies required to meet real customer business needs.
In addition, students will be able to describe OSI networking concepts,
directions and migration issues.

STUDENT PERFORMANCE OBJECTIVES:
Upon completion of this course, students will be able to:
o Identify the link and service components of a networking
solution.
o Identify key networking technologies and components required to
implement the client/server computing model.
o Identify key networking technologies and components necessary to
satisfy common wide area networking needs.
o Identify key networking technologies and components required when
networking with IBM.
o Identify OSI migration issues.
o Identify the benefits of networking standards.
